Everything still appears to be going to plan which is a bit scary! All accommodation now booked for the trip and training going well. The alarm clock is getting used every Sunday morning for the long runs but as there's quite a few others from Bournemouth Joggers training for the London marathon or the Mad March Hare (20 mile road race this coming Sunday) or the Grizzly (mud, water, mud, hills and more mud 20ish miler cross-country race in 2 weeks time!) it's been great to have quite a bit of company and the miles seem to go past quite easily. So far the weather for the long runs has been fantastic.
Fundraising is also coming along nicely....current tally is £457 for Paul with £200 online donations and £289 offline for Cancer Research making a total to date of £946. There are also plans for a fundraising event the weekend before I leave which is exciting

Yes, she's barking mad but we have to humour her. Carole is a wonderful, funny, driven, "young" lady who is totally committed (or needs to be....)to her running and to this cause. I've been lucky enough to be there through the idea stage and the logistics stage and am proud to say that my family and I will be there at Land's End to see her off on her mission. Support her - he's mental and needs lots of support, especially considering that she's doing this mad thing unsupported! Let's hope the internet donations, personal contributions and the fab fundraiser on 19th April will generate enough sponsorship to inspire her to complete this personal challenge, fulfil her ambitions and ultimately return to work contented - we need her !!!Wishing her love, lots of luck and best wishes from Sarah, Kevin and the boys xxxx
